About Firefly Firefly chronicles the trials and tribulations of Malcolm Reynolds and the crew of his ship Serenity. The show only lasted one season on Fox. Recently, it has been made into a movie. About An Unwelcomed Meeting This story is set after "Objects in Space" but before the movie. In keeping with the Firefly universe, I have incorporated Chinese phrases. I am greatly indebited to the Firefly-Serenity Chinese Pinyinary for the phrases I used.
